The Rome TEA Party is a group of individuals united by our shared concern over our government’s excessive spending and increasing control over free enterprise. We renounce the irresponsible behavior of an out-of-control federal government consistently exceeding the bounds set by the U.S. Constitution and the conservative principles of our Founding Fathers. We believe that adherence to the U.S. Constitution will result in a Smaller Government, Fiscal Responsibility, and Free Enterprise.

We also recognize the strength of grassroots activism powered by action and civic responsibility at a local level. The mission of the Rome TEA Party is to organize like-minded individuals, educate and inform citizens based on our core values, secure public policy consistent with those values, and positively effect the outcome of elections at all levels.
